Arriving in dealerships this fall, the 2013 Buick Verano Turbo will boast more power and better fuel efficiency than its competitors. With the ability to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in an estimated 6.2 seconds and an EPA estimated 20 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, the Verano Turbo is setting the standard in upscale small cars.
The turbocharged Verano features a 2.0-L four-cylinder engine with direct injection that is able to produce 250 horsepower at 5300 rpm and 260-lb-ft of torque at 2000 rpm. In addition, IntelliLink connectivity, push-button start, a heated steering wheel, a rear-view camera, and a Bose 9-speaker audio system all come standard on the 2013 Verano Turbo. A navigation system and a power sunroof are optional add-ons.
“Buick Verano continues to build momentum in the marketplace with eight straight months of sales increases since launch,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick marketing. “The new Verano Turbo increases the performance of an already capable luxury sedan while continuing to offer customers the smart, purposeful technology they expect.”
