GM announced recently nine new and refreshed Buick and GMC models will be introduced by the end of 2013. This announcement comes during Buick and GMC’s third year of consecutive retail gains and consistent sales momentum. The new Buick Encore, Buick Regal, GMC Yukon, and GMC Sierra are among the new and redesigned models being released soon.
In addition to the introduction of these new models, General Motors also plans to offer the luxury Denali trim on four of GMC’s upcoming vehicles. The 2013 Buick Verano and 2013 GMC Terrain are two of the newly designed models now available at Crawford Buick GMC.
General Motors is planning on re-introducing the GMC Canyon to the automotive market this year as well. This mid-sized pickup was discontinued when GMC’s Louisiana factory was shut down. The all-new Canyon will be a sibling to the Chevrolet Colorado, a popular compact pickup.
“We’re not only selling more vehicles, we’re bringing new customers to the Buick and GMC showroom,” explained Brian Sweeney, vice president of Buick and GMC Sales and Service. “Both brands report more than 40 percent conquest sales. Buick was the only automotive brand in the United States to reduce the average age of its buyer during the past five years, and GMC continues to attract more female buyers and- with Denali vehicles- more import and luxury owners.”
