Black Friday helped Buick and GMC November sales reach their highest point since 2003 and 2001, respectively.
For Buick, sales rose 13.8 percent year-over-year and 27 percent year-to-date, led by strong performances by the premium LaCrosse sedan and the compact Encore SUV. The former experienced its best November sales result since 2005 with 53 percent growth while the latter continued to bring new customers to Buick with total sales increasing by 55.7 percent.
Over at GMC, retail sales were up 31.1 percent, marking the best November sales result in 13 years and the 10th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. At the top of the charts was the new heavy-duty 2015 Sierra full-size pickup truck, which was up 57 percent to 22,458 sales, the model’s best November ever.
Another popular vehicle was the 2015 GMC Canyon, whose signature style and strength consistently attracts customers here at Crawford Buick GMC. Despite arriving at the dealership in late September, the 2015 Canyon has only stuck around for 12 days on average before finding an owner!
By now, we’re sure that you have heard that GMC has a new midsize pickup on the horizon. The 2015 GMC Canyon was built to show you that good things really do come in small packages. Although the Canyon will be the little sister of the Sierra, the Canyon packs many features that will help you with work or adventure.
First up, the GMC Canyon is powered by your choice of a 2.5-liter I-4 engine or a more powerful 3.6-liter V6. In 2015, the Canyon will also be available with a 2.8-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel engine for even more power and torque. With a smaller engine size than its big sister, the Canyon delivers great fuel efficiency which puts a little extra money in your wallet.
Many drivers don’t need the capability of a full size pickup. Instead, drivers prefer something smaller and easier to navigate. That’s where the Canyon comes in! The Canyon delivers the best of both worlds. With a smaller stance, the GMC Canyon can fit in almost any garage. It also has a great turning radius of only 41 feet.
The team here at Crawford Buick GMC cannot wait to see what this midsize pickup has in store! It will be available on our lot sometime this fall, but if you would like to know more now give us a ring at (915) 778-7781 or stop by GMC’s website for a full workup!
The 2015 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali will be the first GMC vehicles with 4G LTE capability and the team here at Crawford Buick GMC couldn’t be more excited! 4G LTE will give your vehicle the ability to transform into a Wi-Fi hotspot giving passengers the ability to surf the web and download movies, music, and games to their laptop or handheld devices.
This all-new technology will feature an antenna that is more powerful than those found in smartphones which will give you and your passengers the best connection possible. The 4G LTE service will be made available through OnStar. The Terrain will be the first new vehicle with the service, but the Sierra, Yukon, and Canyon will follow close behind.
GMC hopes that this service will be great for family travel making the Terrain the perfect place for it to debut. OnStar 4G LTE will be included on your new Terrain for 3 months or 3 gigabytes as a trial offer. If you would like to purchase a data plan for your new vehicle, they start at just $5 a month!
At Crawford Buick GMC we cannot wait to see how the 4G LTE service can enhance our customers’ driving experience when it hits our lot this summer! If you would like to learn more about this new technology, give us a call at (866) 439-7101!
