What do you do when you are ready to purchase or lease a new vehicle? Rather than going straight to the dealership’s showroom, most of us research ahead of time and gather information on a potential purchase online. General Motors recognizes this and created a new service called “Shop-Click-Drive”, which enables customers to get pricing information, view available incentives, learn about insurance, get trade-in value information, and apply for financing, all from the convenience of their computers or mobile devices. Every Buick and GMC dealer in the U.S. now has the opportunity to feature this new service on their dealership website.
Shop-Click-Drive provides a worry-free, hassle-free, pressure-free way for customers to research the next vehicle they may end up purchasing or leasing. This application is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from participating Buick and GMC dealers who add Shop-Click-Drive to their websites.
“We want to make it easier and simpler for dealers to connect with customers who are looking to combine the convenience of online shopping with the personal service of a neighborhood dealership,” said GM’s Kurt McNeil, vice president, U.S. Sales Operations. “We engaged dealers to help us develop ‘Shop-Click-Drive’ to address this need.”
