It’s that time of year. Grab you friends, jerseys, megaphones, face paint, drinks, and snacks: it’s football season! The tailgating experience is an American tradition and for some devoted fans, it’s a way of life every weekend from September through January. The enthusiasm that you, the fan, bring to the game can only be enhanced by the vehicle you use for your tailgating experience. If you are looking to arrive at the stadium in style with up to seven of your friends, the GMC Yukon is the ideal choice. The 2012 GMC Yukon was recently ranked by Kelley Blue Book as one of the 10 Best Tailgating Vehicles of 2012. The 2012 Yukon can now be found at our El Paso dealership.
With an EPA estimated 15 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, Yukon is prepared to get you to every game, whether home or away. This large SUV provides a smooth ride with a well-made interior and can comfortably seat up to eight passengers. Amenities on the 2012 Yukon include a Bose premium sound system, climate control, auto-off headlights, auxiliary power outlet, rear seat audio controls, and a power liftgate.

Have you ever had to pull a load in your vehicle and had it constantly swaying on the road behind you? It’s an unsettling feeling to have an uncontrollable trailer give you the never-ending fear that you may hit something or someone. The solution: Trailer Sway Control from GMC to help making towing a steady proposition. The 2012 GMC Terrain and Acadia crossovers, both of which feature Trailer Sway Control, are now on the lot at Crawford Buick GMC.
StabiliTrak stability control with Trailer Sway Control uses sensors to measure the force and motions created by unexpected side-to-side motions caused by a trailer or other device being towed. The vehicle is able to correct these motions automatically by applying individual brakes that allow the vehicle and trailer to fall back in line. Most of Acadia and Terrain trim levels also come standard with rearview cameras, making trailer hitching easier.
“GMC customers have high demands for comfort, performance, and capability,” said Robert Krause, lead trailering engineer for General Motors. “Those qualities have to stand up to the boaters, bikers, and campers who own our vehicles.”
“For most uses, there are very few sacrifices that come with downsizing a tow vehicle,” said Krause. “The vast majority of consumers are towing smaller boats and even the smallest GMC can handle a sizeable boat and trailer. Drivers simply need to match with the necessary performance level.”
Both the 2012 GMC Terrain and 2012 GMC Acadia are now available at our El Paso dealership. Visit Crawford Buick GMC in person or check us out online at www.crawfordautos.com to view photos and information on Terrain and Acadia models.
