January Events in El Paso

Many people feel a general let down once January rolls around—all the fun from the holidays are over and we just have a long winter ahead of us. Luckily, down here in El Paso, winters stay reasonably mild, so there are still plenty of things to do both inside and out. Here are a few January events in El Paso which Crawford Buick GMC believes will keep your spirits up.

  • Sunset Strolls. If you love the scenic nature of our natural environment, head to the White Sands National Monument any evening between 4:15 PM and 5:15 PM now through January 16th. There you can take part in a sunset stroll.

  • Chicago the Musical. In the mood for some great entertainment? The Plaza Theatre will be presenting Chicago the Musical January 13th and 14th at 7:30 PM.

Ultimate Tailgate: 4 Steps to Success

With football season upon us, not only is it time to hit the stands for some exciting games—it’s also time to hit the parking lots for one of the best parts of the experience: tailgating! Pinic-basket.com has compiled a list of essential steps toward becoming a professional tailgater this season, and we’ve highlighted some of our favorite steps below:

  1. Provide Assorted Spirits

“There’s nothing quite like a cold brew to warm up your insides and make you feel all warm ‘n fuzzy on an icy cold day; or an frosty beer to really make you appreciate a nice warm spring day” says pinic-basket.com.

  1. Up Your Food Game

A successful tailgate requires awesome food. Grill up some burgers and hot dogs, along with vegetarian options. Have a wide range of tailgating foods available so everyone has a variety they enjoy.

  1. Dress Like A Pro Tailgater

Don’t forget to look the part while playing corn hole! Wear your team colors or your favorite player’s jersey. No matter what, make sure you are enjoying yourself and you are dressed for the weather, warm or cold.

  1. Have a Portable TV and Radio

A portable TV allows you to enjoy both the pre-game and the game. Want to have some music but don’t have a cordless radio? You can use your car radio while having your open trunk double as additional seating or a food/drink station.

Enjoy watching your favorite team and enjoy the ultimate tailgate in a new GMC Sierra from Crawford Buick GMC.
